Summary:Purpose: This study aims to provide a basic database that can be used as input data for simulation performance evaluation of smart farm daylight characteristics through test evaluation. Methods: Daylighting performance evaluation of four types of glass, PE film, PO film, and ETFE was conducted using FT-RI equipment to measure the surface radiation rate of single materials. The evaluation items were visible transmittance, visible reflectance, solar transmittance, solar reflectance, and thickness for simulation performance evaluation such as Energy Plus and DIVA for Rhino. Result: The average value of visible transmittance was 80.33% for glass, 87.13% for PE film, 84.44% for PO film, and 91.58% for ETFE. As a result of the daylight characteristic simulation with input value, the weak part of the side part of the up and down side were analyzed. The average of 25,613 lux for glass, 27,468 lux for PE, 26,968lux for PO, and 27,400 lux for ETFE was analyzed. In future research, we will provide guidelines for selecting appropriate covering materials for each crop by conducting comprehensive simulations of design variables such as shading ratio, visible transmittance, greenhouse type, and climate zone.
