영상 속 문화 분석을 통한 동영상 기반 번역 서비스 디자인 제안

본 연구는 영상 콘텐츠 속 문화 분석을 통해 일반 언어 번역기 기능이 확장된 동영상 기반 문화 번역 서비스 디자인을 제안하는 데 목적을 둔다. 본 연구의 분석 대상은 한국 예능 프로그램 중 리메이크 포맷을 가장 많이 수출한 복면가왕이고, 관련 연구 분석을 통해 8개의 문화 번역 지점을 도출하였다. 이후 동영상 기반 문화 번역 앱 프로토타입을 제작하였고, 이 과정을 통해 문화 분석 앱 제작 시 고려해야 할 12개의 항목을 도출하였다. 마지막으로 태스크 병행 심층 인터뷰를 통해 제작된 프로토타입에 대한 사용자 테스트를 진행하였다. 본 연구를 통해 사용자가 흥미롭게 관심 번역 영상을 시청하면서 다른 문화에 대한 이해와 함께 문화 맥락을 바탕으로 한 언어 학습 효과까지 증진할 수 있는 서비스를 제안하였다는 데에 의의가 있다. The purpose of this study is to propose a video-based cultural translation service design in which the function of a general language translating machine is extended through cultural analysis from video contents. The analysis subject of this study is King of Mask Singer, which has exported the remake format the most among South Korean entertainment TV shows. Eight cultural translation points were derived through the analysis of related studies. Video-based cultural translation app prototype was produced hereafter; this process derived twelve items that should be considered when producing a cultural analysis app. Lastly, a user test was conducted regarding the prototype produced through an in-depth interview in parallel with tasks. This study has the significance that it proposed the service to enhance the language learning effect based on the cultural context as well as an understanding of other cultures while a user watches their intriguing translated videos.
