수용, 외상 후 성장, 우울과 자살사고의 관계

본 연구는 외상경험자의 수용, 외상 후 성장 및 우울과 자살사고의 관계를 규명해 보고자 하였다. 연구 대상자는외상을 경험 한 대학생 241명(남자: 118, 여자: 123)이며, 연구에 사용된 측정도구는 외상경험 목록 질문지, 외상후 성장 척도, 수용적 대처 척도, 수용 행동 질문지, 우울 척도, 자살사고척도이다. 본 연구에서는 심리적수용 정도가외상 후 성장 경험에 영향을 미치고 이는 다시 우울에 영향을 미쳐 자살사고로 이어지는 매개모형을 상정하고 이를분석하였다. 우선 각 변인들의 상관분석 결과, 수용적 대처, 수용전념행동은 자살사고와 유의한 부적상관이 있는것으로 나타났다. 외상 후 성장 척도에서는 대인관계의 깊이 증가가 자살사고와 가장 높은 부적상관이 있었으나영적 관심의 증가는 자살사고와 상관관계가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 우울은 본 연구에서 상정한 변인들 중 자살사고와 가장 강력한 상관관계가 있었다. 자살사고에 대한 수용, 외상 후 성장, 우울의 영향을 검토 한 결과, 수용의 하위요인인 수용적 대처, 수용전념행동의 경우 과거 자살시도 경험을 통제하고 난 후에도 자살사고에 대한 설명력이유의하였다. 외상 후 성장의 경우 수용적 대처와 수용전념행동이 자살사고에 미치는 영향을 통제하고 난 후에도자살사고를 유의하게 예측해주었다. 우울의 경우 수용과 외상후성장이 자살사고에 미치는 영향을 통제하고 난 후에도 자살사고의 설명력이 유의하였다. 수용과 자살사고 간의 관계에서 외상 후 성장, 우울의 매개효과를 검증 한 결과, 외상적 사건을 경험한 이들의 수용은 외상 후 성장에, 외상 후 성장은 우울에 영향을 미치어 자살사고에 이름과동시에 수용이 자살사고에 직접적인 영향도 미치고 있어 수용과 자살사고 간의 관계에서 외상 후 성장과 우울은부분매개변인으로 작용함이 확인되었다. This study examined the relationship of acceptance, posttraumatic growth, depression, and suicidal ideation for the university students who experienced a traumatic event. Participants were 241 university students. The instruments of the study were scale of Acceptance coping in COPE, Acceptance Action Questionnaire, Posttrraumartic Growth Inventory, BDI, and Scale for Suicidal ideation. The result of correlation analysis between the variables advocated that acceptance coping, acceptance commitment behavior has significant negative correlations with suicidal ideation. And it was significantly correlated with closeness of interpersonal relationship among four posttraumatic growth scale and suicidal ideation, but spiritual change was not significant. Depression manifested strong relation with suicidal ideation among study variables. Effect of acceptance, posttraumatic growth, depression about suicide ideation were tested. The relationship between suicidal ideation and acceptance coping, acceptance commitment behavior reveled significant positive even though the history of suicide attempt was controlled. And suicidal ideation were explained well by posttraumatic growth, even though acceptance coping and acceptance commitment behavior affection on suicidal ideation was controlled. For the mediating effect, the result showed that the two variables, which were posttraumatic growth and depression, partially mediated the relationship between acceptance and suicidal ideation. Based on the results, psychotherapeutic implications were discussed. KCI Citation Count: 37
