Summary:Fixed Bio-ring applied Multi-stage Step-feed Biological Nutrient Removal(MS-BNR) has been developed to improve traditional waste water treatment system. This paper examines and appraises the correlation between operation conditions, such as water temperature, HRT, C/N ratio, C/P ratio, F/M ratio and BOD5 removal efficiency, and nutrients removal efficiencies especially total nitrogen and phosphorus on MS-BNR system of D waste water treatment in Korea. The result of this study shows that even though nutrients removal efficiencies have low interrelation to water temperature, in case of HRT, C/N, C/P, F/M and BOD5 Removal Efficiency, nutrients removal efficiencies of MS-BNR have high correlation amid them. To achieve high nutrients removal efficiencies, fixed Bio-ring applied MS-BNR Process needs over 4 of C/N and 30 of C/P ratio, over 95% of BOD5 removal efficiency, between 19 to 23 hours of HRT, and between 0.04 to 0.08 of F/M ratio.
