Summary:Boundaries between genres of art get to maintain close relationships as society-culture-technology develop. Media performance is among phenomena that exchange and act in a complex manner under the name of concept of new art and culture. Using various sensors including professional software and hardware such as small sized equipment allows motion of performers to be sensed in real time and technology and artistic expression to be maximized by recreating and applying them as media of new means of expression using data. This can emphasize a need of academic research on application of technology of media performance and diversify conceptual expansion of performance in performing art which has lots of constraints of time-space. Active introduction of technology and media results in positive diversification of desire to express and emergent idea in art. Therefore, this study considers research on application of technology of media performance. This study inquires into trend of media performance by examining advanced research on works which used various technologies and analyzes effects of various artistic expressions for application of technology of media performance and ways of utilizing it by making analysis of technology design shown in media performance <Silent Mobius> created by me.
