Summary:At recent day smart devices have been emerging to connect physical and virtual objects on Internet of Things (IoT) environments as a new paradigm. Here one of learning application, self-directed learning is the procedure to be operated by leaner in IoT environment. It can happen almost at anywhere and at any time. This article suggests that a self-directed learning on Internet of Things (IoT) environment is a situation or setting of pervasive or omnipresent learning to support various contexts and situations in terms of leaner's environments or capabilities. It also gives the learner the opportunity to access learning materials at different times from different locations, and enable learner to use multiple devices to access and search for knowledge and information while developing their search skills on IoT environment.
