Summary:This study presents the behavioral theory about students who have a high sensitivity for behavioral inhibition system about science learning with the method of grounded theory and by investigating the learning behaviors in science learning situations for the elementary students. Learners who participated in this study are sixth-grade students and 8 students who are sensitive to behavioral inhibition system are selected by the scale test about the motivation system of science learning. 10 science learning situations are chosen for observation of actions and interactions that can be found in learning situations, is able to show various behavioral characteristics of students by analyzing the science curriculum of the sixth grade. Actions and interactions between students in the experiment learning situations were recorded by the camera and in the observation daily record. In addition, the post-interview was conducted after class. Collected data is analyzed based on the grounded theory and was modeled in the way of the behavioral theory about the students who are sensitive to behavioral inhibition system about science learning. In conclusion, the core category of behavior that was expressed by students who have the behavioral inhibition system about science learning is 'anxiety about scientific experiments'. Based on this, two key implications figure. One is which relationship the behaviors according to the motivation system about science learning have with the learning activity, the other is how they formed.
