중국 전통 화사공예의 현대적 활용 사례연구 - 중국 현대장신구를 중심으로

화사공예는 오랜 역사와 문화적 의미를 지닌 중국 전통의 무형문화재로서, 중국 역대 장인의 지혜의 정수이다. 그러나 전통 화사공예는 까다로운 제작 방법과 긴 제작 시간 그리고 현대인의 미감과 공감요소 등의 부족으로 사라질 위기에 있다. 비록 수천 년의 전통을 지닌 화사공예라 하더라도 계속 계승되기 위해서는 그 시대에 적합한 새로운 시대적 정신을 반영해야 한다. 이에 이 연구의 목적은 중국전통 화사공예가 중국 현대장신구에 활용된 작품사례 조사와 분석을 통해 화사공예의 현대적 계승과 발전의 방향성을 제시하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위한 연구방법으로는 먼저 이론적 배경으로 중국 화사의 정의, 역사적 배경 및 기법을 요약 및 분석하고, 중국 현대 화사 장신구 작가의 작품을 조사 및 분석하여 다른 재료와의 결합의 시도, 현대적인 기술의 접목 그리고 현대적인 조형언어로 재해석 된 것으로 분류하여 각각의 관련 작품을 연구하였다. 연구 결과를 살펴보면 화사공예가 일반적으로 단일 금속 재료로 만들어지며 다른 재료와의 결합은 표현의 다양성과 색상의 풍부함을 증가시켜 장신구를 더욱 다양하게 표현할 수 있다. 어렵고 긴 제작 시간문제도 현대 기술을 사용하여 해결할 수 있으므로 작가들은 장신구 제작의 창의성에 더 집중할 수 있다. 미학과 예술에 대한 현대 사회의 요구는 끊임없이 진화하고 확장되고 있으며, 현대 조형언어를 사용하여 전통 화사공예를 재해석하는 것은 시대의 발전 추세에 부합하고 전통 공예에 새로운 의미를 부여한다. 그러나 화사공예의 현대화와 함께 전통 화사기법의 전통방식의 계승자 역시 지속적이고 적극적으로 교육을 받으면서 맥을 이어가는 것 또한 중요하다. 이 두 방향이 함께 조화롭게 발전될 때 진정한 화사 예술의 길을 더욱 발전시킬 수 있다고 생각한다. 이 연구에서는 현대화에 초점을 맞춰 연구가 이루어졌으며 이를 계기로 전통공예에 대해 더 많은 관심을 가지고 작품에 활발한 활용과 연구가 계속 이어질 수 있기를 기대한다. Filigree craft has a long history and cultural connotation, and as a traditional intangible cultural heritage of China, it unites the crystallized wisdom of Chinese artisans throughout the ages. However, traditional filigree craft is in danger of disappearing due to the difficulty of the production method, the long production time, and the lack of relevance to modern aesthetics. Although traditional crafts have a history of thousands of years, they must adapt to the new spirit of the times if they are to continue to be passed on. Therefore, this study aims to explore the possibility of inheriting the fading traditional Chinese flower yarn craft in a way that reflects the present era by focusing on the works of contemporary Chinese jewelry artists. This paper mainly summarises and analyses the definition, historical background, and techniques of Chinese filigree through the method of literature review, and investigates and analyses the works of modern Chinese filigree jewelry artists through the method of case study. Through the study, it is found that filigree craft is generally made of a single metal material, and the combination with other materials can increase the diversity of expression and the richness of colors; the use of modern technology can also solve the problem of difficult and long production time; re-interpretation of filigree craft with modern styling language can inject a new connotation into the traditional craft. However, while modernizing the art, it is also important to continue to actively educate the inheritors of traditional filigree techniques so that the tradition can continue. I believe that by working together in both directions, we can further develop the true path of filigree art. The focus of this study is on modernization, and I hope that this will be an opportunity for people to become more interested in traditional crafts and to continue to actively use and study them in their work.
