일부 임상치과위생사들의 의료기사법에 대한 인식

본 연구는 치과위생사의 의료기사법의 인식도를 파악하기 위해 서울, 경기, 인천 소재의 치과위생사를 대상으로 연구를 실시하였으며 연구결과는 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 본 설문대상자 중 32.8%는 의료기사법 개정에 대해 안다고 하였다. 대상자 중 64.1%는 개정된 의료기사법에 대해 임상에서 일하는 것이 역할분담측면에서 비효율적이라고 하였다. 대상자 중 67.2%는 개정된 의료기사법에 대해서 모른다고 하였고, 그 이유는 홍보부족이 가장 높았다. 치과위생사는 현재 치과에서 치과위생사 외 간호조무사, 치과기공사와의 직무분담이 명확하지 않다고 생각하는 응답이 많았다(75.9%). 그 이유는 업무분장의 중요성에 대한 치과의사의 인식부족(40.0%)이 가장 높게 나타났다. 의료법에 관련 세미나를 참석한 적은 없으나(88.6%) 의료법에 관한 세미나를 개최한다면 들으러 가고 싶다(59.8%)는 비율은 높았다. 치과위생사의 의료인화에 대해서는 대부분 찬성하였다(77.0%). 본 연구는 치과위생사의 의료기사법의 인식도와 문제점을 파악하여 현재 대한치과위생사협회가 추진하고 있는 의료인화 와 의료기사법 개정의 근거자료로 사용될 수 있을 것으로 생각된다. The purpose of this study was to assess dental hygienists` awareness of medical technician jurisprudence. The study was conducted over a 2-month period from March 1 to May 1, 2016. A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 201 dental hygienists in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon province. The questionnaire consisted of items on the awareness of the jurisprudence pertaining to medical technician jurisprudence. Data were analyzed using the IBM SPSS Statistics ver. 19.0 program. We found that 32.8% of the respondents were aware of medical technician jurisprudence. Low awareness that result was due to “insufficient public relations efforts.” The respondents thought that medical technician jurisprudence are inefficient in clinical settings. Of the dental hygienists, 75.9% replied that task distribution was unclear and 40.0% lacked awareness of the distribution of dentists` duties (40.0%). A total of 59.8% of respondents showed intention to participate in medical jurisprudence seminars. Of the dental hygienists, 77.0% agreed with the insert dental hygienists under medical jurisprudence category. In conclusion, dental hygienists` awareness of medical technician jurisprudence should be improved. In addition, the dental hygienist jurisprudence need to be revised regarding job status.
