Summary:Objectives: This study was conducted to analyze the relationship between fatigue and subjective oral symptoms to effectively manage the health and oral health of nursing facility workers, identify factors affecting oral symptoms, and provide basic data for program development to prevent, manage, and mediate them. Methods: The subjects of the study were distributed to 540 workers working at elderly care facilities in Gyeongsangbuk-do, and 498 copies were used for the final study. Results: In the results of regression analysis on the relationship between fatigue and subjective oral symptoms, overall fatigue(β=0.212), routine dysfunction(β=0.153), and situational fatigue(β=0.266) were statistically significant. Conclusions: It was found that the fatigue level of workers in elderly care facilities was related to subjective oral symptoms. Therefore, it is necessary to find a management method to lower fatigue through improvement of the work environment of workers including nursing care workers and management of work stress, and to develop and apply programs for the promotion of health and oral health.
