재발익상편에서 익상편절제술 및 자가윤부결막이식술 후 베바시주맙 결막하주사의 효과

목적: 재발익상편에서 익상편절제술과 병행한 자가윤부결막이식술 및 윤부고정봉합술 후 베바시주맙 결막하주사의 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 대상과 방법: 재발익상편의 치료를 위해 익상편절제술과 병행한 자가윤부결막이식술 및 윤부고정봉합술을 받은 환자 9명(11안)의 의무 기록을 후향적으로 분석하였다. 모든 환자는 12개월 이상의 경과관찰을 받았다. 인구학적 변수, 수술 후 임상적 결과, 재발 여부 등을 분석하였다. 수술 후 12개월 후 재발 여부를 평가하였다. 결과: 연구에 포함된 환자군은 남성 5명(5안), 여성 4명(6안)이었으며, 평균 연령은 66.0 ± 13.0세였다. 수술 후 12개월 후, 11안 모두에서 재발이 관찰되지 않았다. 결론: 익상편절제술과 병행한 자가윤부결막이식술 및 윤부고정봉합술 후 베바시주맙 결막하주사는 재발익상편에서 재발을 예방하는 데 효과적인 방법으로 생각된다. Purpose: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of subconjunctival bevacizumab injection after pterygium excision with limbal conjunctival autograft and limbal fixation suture in recurred pterygium. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of 9 patients (11 eyes) who received subconjunctival bevacizumab injection after pterygium excision with limbal conjunctival autograft and limbal fixation suture for recurred pterygium. All patients included in this study completed follow-up for at least 12 months. Demographic variables, postoperative clinical outcomes, and recurrence rate were analyzed. Recurrence of pterygium was evaluated at 12 months after surgery. Results: The study subjects comprised 5 male patients (5 eyes) and 4 female patients (6 eyes) with a mean age of 66.0 ± 13.0 years (range 43-78 years). Among the 11 eyes, no recurrence occurred after the follow-up period of 12 months. Conclusions: Subconjunctival bevacizumab injection after pterygium excision with limbal conjunctival autograft and limbal fixation suture appears to be an effective method of preventing the recurrence in recurred pterygium.
