Summary:Objectives: This study aims to provide basic data necessary for dental hygienists to establish an efficient work environment in dental hospitals and clinics by analyzing the effects of dental hygienists' work cooperation and positive psychological capital on work engagement. Methods: 206 dental hygienists in area J were selected through convenience sampling, and surveys were conducted through online URL in an individual self-written manner. Results: Work cooperation and positive psychological capital among dental hygienists were found to have a statistically significant effect as major factors affecting dental hygienists' work commitment (p<0.01). Conclusions: If various educational programs such as mentoring activities and psychological education are provided to promote cooperation among colleagues and strengthen positive psychological capital to increase dental hygienists' work engagement, it is expected to be effective in enhancing dental hygienists' work engagement and competitiveness within the organization KCI Citation Count: 0
