Summary:Objectives: The purpose of this study is to find out the subjective perception of oral health education of MZ generation dental hygienists and their oral care behavior, and to analyze the difference in oral health education practice. Methods: From April 29 to June 30, 2023, dental hospitals and clinics located across the country were randomly extracted and selected, and it was conducted for MZ generation dental hygienists currently in office. Results: The better the subjects' own oral care behaviors, the more experienced the dental hygienists were in teaching and the more confident they were in their own teaching, and the more important the dental hygienists' perceptions of the link between periodontal treatment and oral health education, the more likely they were to practice oral health education. Conclusions: The role of the MZ generation dental hygienists working at a high rate in dentistry is important. If their oral management behavior is evaluated first, it is expected that the practice of oral health education will increase. In addition, quality educational welfare is required for their educational experience and satisfaction. It is believed that if dental medical institutions have sufficient time and staffing for oral health education, they can provide quality oral health education to their patients. KCI Citation Count: 0
