보존적 치료로 호전된 자리돔 가시에 의한 급성 종격동염 1예

Acute mediastinitis is a life threatening disorder that causes severe morbidity in affected patient. We experienced a case of acute mediastinitis in a 56 year-old man as a result of swallowing a fish bone (order Perciformes, Family Pomacentridae). Conservative treatment, including starvation therapy and the injection of antibiotic drugs, were successful in treating this patient. Although the optimal treatment for acute mediastinitis remains controversial, it is important to choose the appropriate strategies when encountering cases of acute mediastinitis. 저자 등은 자리돔 가시를 먹고 흉부통증과 호흡곤란을 호소하여 내원한 환자에서 흉부전산화단층촬영에서 종격동염을 진단하고 보존적 치료에 의해 호전된 급성종격동염 1예를 경험 하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.
