새만금 간척지 주변지역의 중심기능 분석

본 연구는 새만금 사업구역의 인근 지역을 중심으로 읍면별 중심기능을 분석하였다. 중심기능시설 보유 상태를 파악하기 위해 52개 시설군으로 분류하여 점포수를 계산하였고 이를 바탕으로 Davies의 기능지수를 중심지별로 계산, 정주계층을 분석하였다. 계층구분 결과에 의하면 새만금 연접지역 중 지역 최상위 중심지는 시군청이 소재한 중심도시이고, 2차 중심지는 새만금 간척사업지구에 포함되는 지역 중 중위 중심지 역할을 담당하게 될 적정지역으로 군산에서는 대야, 김제는 만경, 부안은 계화 지역으로 분석되었다. 또한, 기타 12개 지역은 중심마을 수준의 하위 중심지 기능을 현재 수행하고 있다. 지역전체에서 지역중심도시의 기능지수 점유율은 농촌지역일수록 중심도시에의 집중도가 감소하는 경향을 보이고 있다. 또한 중심기능 분석결과, 새만금 사업지역 중 4개 지역이 2차 중심지로, 12지역이 3차 중심지로서의 기능을 담당할 것으로 분석되었다. This study was carried out to analyse the central functions of district-load areas(Eup or Myun in Korea) in the neighborhood zone of Saemangeum Reclamation Area. To investigate the state of the facilities having the central functions, the number of stores classified into 52 groups and Davies's function index was calculated. And the results showed that the ratio of function index for central city decrease rather at the rural area than at urban area. From this study, 4 areas were selected as the second-order centers, while remaining 12 areas as the third-order centers in Saemangeum area. KCI Citation Count: 2
