Summary:Objectives: The purpose of this study is to explore effects of cardiac rehabilitation programs for coronary artery disease patients. Methods: A systematic search was performed using domestic search engines such as RISS and KISS and foreign search engines such as PubMed and CINAHL guided by preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analysis. The searched literature was classified according to the subject and purpose. For the quality of the literature, Mixed Method Apprasial Tools (MMAT) was used. Results: The number of final selected literature were 9, and the contents of the heart rehabilitation program included a study on how to increase the participation rate in heart rehabilitation, a comparative study between specialized and general centers, and a study incorporating smart devices and education. The effectiveness of the heart rehabilitation program was significant in the morbidity and mortality of the disease, and in the hemodynamic, physical, social, and mental state. In addition, quality of lie, waist hip ration were improved. Conclusions: Various programs using cardiac rehabilitation have been shown to be positive for the physical, social, and mental conditions, including self-management and quality of life of patients with coronary artery disease. Therefore, the development and distribution of various programs using cardiac rehabilitation should be carried out.
