국어교육에서의 소셜 미디어 리터러시 연구

이 연구에서는 국어교육에서 소셜 미디어 리터러시 개념을 정립하기 위해 미디어 리터러시, 디지털 미디어 리터러시와 소셜 미디어 리터러시의 관련성을 탐구하고, 국어과 교육과정 및 핵심 역량과 관련한 소셜 미디어 리터러시의 구성 요소와 내용을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이에 소셜 미디어 리터러시의 소통 단계를 수용, 생산, 유통으로 분류하고 각 구성 요소를 비평적 이해 능력, 자성적 표현 능력, 상보적 공유 능력으로 설정하였다. 비판적 이해 능력은 정보의 비판적 분석 및 평가, 정보의 선별적 수용 및 재구성으로 설명할 수 있다. 이는 비판적·창의적 사고 역량, 자료·정보 활용 역량과 관련이 있다. 자성적 표현 능력은 복합양식 텍스트를 활용하여 정체성을 표현하는 능력으로 해석할 수 있으며, 평판 관리와 표현 윤리 준수를 통해 신뢰성을 구축하는 것으로 발현된다. 그리고 이것은 자기 성찰·계발 역량과 관련을 갖는다. 끝으로 상보적 공유 능력은 공론장 참여를 통한 민주주의의 실천, 소셜 협업을 통한 공유와 소통으로 구성되며, 공동체·대인 관계 역량, 문화 향유 역량과 연결된다. 소셜 미디어 리터러시는 소셜 미디어의 특성과 사회문화적 영향력을 이해하고, 이를 적극적이고 주체적으로 선택, 표현, 활용할 수 있는 능력을 의미한다. 소셜 미디어에 대한 비평적 이해 능력, 자성적 표현 능력, 상보적 공유 능력의 각 요소는 유기적인 상호작용을 통해 국어교육에서의 소셜 미디어 리터러시를 구성한다고 할 수 있다. 이는 결국 국어과 핵심 역량과 관련하여 음성 언어, 문자 언어, 기호와 매체 등을 활용하여 생각과 느낌, 경험을 표현하거나 이해하면서 의미를 구성하고 자아와 타인, 세계의 관계를 점검·조정하는 능력인 의사소통 역량으로 귀결된다고 할 수 있다. In this study, we investigated the relationship between media literacy, digital media literacy, and social media literacy in order to establish the concept of meaningful social media literacy in Korean language education. And we suggested the components and contents of social media literacy education in relation to Korean language and core competencies. The communication steps of social media literacy are classified into reception, production, and distribution. And each component is set to critical understanding ability, self-reflective expression ability, complementary sharing ability. The critical understanding ability can be described as critical analysis and evaluation of information, Selective reception and reconstruction of information. And this is related to critical and creative thinking competency, data and information utilization competency. The self-reflective expression ability is interpreted as identity expression using multi-modal text, building credibility through reputation management and keeping the ethics of expression. And this if related self reflection and development competency. Finally, complementary sharing ability can be analyzed as practice of democracy through participation in public sphere, sharing and communicating through social collaboration. And this is mated to community and interpersonal competency, cultural enjoyment competency. These three steps are all closely related to communication competency of key competencies in Korean language education Thus, social media literacy means the ability to understand the social media's characteristics and socio-cultural influence, and to select, express and utilize it positively and subjectively. This means that it is the practicer is able to express and understand the thoughts, feelings and experiences by using the spoken language, the written language, the symbols and the medium in relation to the key competency in Korean language education. And it results in communication competency.
