Summary:The paper aims to study the characteristics of subjective adjectives and objective adjectives in Korean and analyze the aspects of describing them in Korean textbooks for foreigners. It is very unusual for an adjective to function as a predicate alone without a verb, but in Korean this is possible. In particular, psychological adjectives form a unique sentence structure that is not found in other languages. That is whether a psychological adjective is used in two ways: objective or subjective use, or the number of arguments depends on its meaning. Or it forms a double subject sentence. These sentence structures are very familiar with native speakers of Korean, but they are unfamiliar to foreigners. Therefore, this paper analyzed the descriptions in Korean textbooks for foreigners based on ‘좋다’ type adjectives. And this paper shows an example of the errors that foreigners generate while using Korean psychological adjectives. In addition, this paper identifies the causes of errors and suggests improvements and points to be reflected in Korean textbooks for foreigners.
