도덕과 교육과정에 제시된 인간상의 존재론적 특징

이 글의 요지는 현행 도덕과 교육과정에서 제시되고 있는 인간상이 어떤 특징을 지니는지에 대하여 존재론적으로 살펴보는 일이다. 먼저 연구의 기초 작업으로서 존재론의 흐름을 약술한 다음, 교육과정에서 추구되는 전반적인 인간상을 검토하였다. 본론에서는 도덕 교과의 인간상을 탐색하기 위해, 토미즘에 입각하여 국가 수준의 문서화된 교육과정과 그 구체적 표현인 교과서들을 정밀 분석하였다. 동 교과의 인간상은 크게 두 가지로 드러나는데, 하나는 근본 실체로서의 존재자라는 점 그리고 다른 하나는 가치 지향의 존재자라는 점이다. 전자는 주로 존재자의 범주 내지 존재 양식을 중심으로 살펴본 것이다. 여기서 인간은 자존의 본질적 실체요, 인격의 주체로서, 그리고 관계 속에 자리매김 된 존재자로 나타난다. 후자는 주로 존재자의 내적 구성 원리를 중심으로 살펴본 것이다. 여기서 인간은 가능태의 실현을 위해 노력하고, 현존재를 중시하며, 자기 존재의 근거에 관한 통찰을 통해 삶의 방향을 찾는 존재자로 묘사되어 있다. This study refers to a search for the ontological feature of human figure showed in the current curriculum of moral studies. The brief description of the historical flow of ontology and the general human figure intended in the curriculum is the preface of this research. The main subject is to analyze the issued curriculum of state level and its expression, textbooks on the ground of thomism. The ontological feature of human being expressed in moral studies has two aspects. One is Being as a fundamental substance, and the other is Being as a value pursuer. The former deals with the category or form of Being. Human being is drawn as an essential substance, as a subject of person, and as a Being ordained in relation. The latter deals with the internal constituent principle of Being. Human being is drawn as an 'ens' striving for the realization of potency, attaching importance to its existence, and searching for the life course by reflection upon the cause of its being.
