학교 청소년의 인권보장, 자아존중감, 주관적 행복감 간의 관계

본 연구는 학교에서 참여권 중심의 인권보장이 청소년의 주관적 행복감에 미치는 직접적 영향과 자아존중감을 매개로 한 간접적 영향을 확인하는데 목적이 있다. 또한 학령(중학생-고등학생)이 변수들 간의 인과관계를 조절하는지 그 조절효과(moderating effect)를 탐색하였다. 이를 위해 보건복지가족부가 2008년 실시한 `아동청소년종합실태조사` 자료를 기초로 만 13세-18세의 학교 청소년 2,004명의 자료를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 참여권으로서 학교생활의 자유보장과 참여보장은 모두 청소년의 주관적 행복감에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나 이례적으로 참여보장은 주관적 행복감에 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 참여보장은 자아존중감을 매개하여 청소년의 주관적 행복감에 정적 영향을 미친데 반해 자유보장은 자아존중감을 매개하여 청소년의 주관적 행복감에 영향을 발휘하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 각 경로에 대한 학령의 조절효과를 분석한 결과에서는 참여보장과 자아존중감 간의 경로에서만 유의미한 조절효과가 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 연구의 함의를 살펴보았다. This Study examined the direct or indirect effects, through self-esteem, of rights guarantee of school adolescents on subjective happiness. In addition, The study investigated the moderating academic background(middle school-high school). The study data based on 2,004 of middle school and high school students among respondents of the survey on "child·youth synthesize survey", which was the research of ministry for Health, Welfare and Family affairs. As a statistical method, structural equation model was employed. The study results showed that school adolescents` rights(liberty and participate) guarantee affect directly on subjective happiness and participate guarantee affect indirectly through self-esteem. The study did not find the moderating effects of academic background, except for path from participate guarantee to self-esteem. Based on the results, implications for adolescents welfare policy and practice were discussed.
