초등학교 저학년 읽기 교과서에 나타난 설명 텍스트의 담화 구조 특성

본고는 저학년 아동의 독서 발달 단계를 고려하여, 저학년 설명 텍스트의담화 구조 특성을 고찰하였다. 저학년 설명 텍스트의 의미 관계 특성은 설명텍스트의 기본적인 의미 관계인 상세화, 연결, 원인-결과 관계를 중심으로 형성되며, 연속과 조건이 나타나 저학년 아동에게 익숙한 구조를 활용하여 핵심 내용을 자세히 설명한다. 도식 구조 특성으로는 머리말이나 맺음말이 생략되거나 간단하게 제시되어, 텍스트의 핵심 내용인 본문만을 강조하는 불완전한 3단 구성이 나타난다. 또한 단순 반복 구조가 빈번하게 나타나리듬감과 재미를 주며, 텍스트 내용의 기억에도 도움을 준다. 초등학교 아동용 독서 텍스트는 동일한 내용을 전달하더라도 대상 독자의 연령대에 따라 각기 다른 담화 구조를 선택하여 구성하므로, 저학년용 텍스트의 담화 구조 분석은 저학년 텍스트의 특성을 보여준다. 이와 같이 저학년용설명 텍스트의 담화 구조 특성을 이해하는 것은 설명 텍스트를 교육하는 교수자에게도, 설명 텍스트 생산자에게도 도움이 될 것이라 기대한다. This study is subject to reveal the characteristic of discourse structure of expository texts for lower grades. Relational propositions of expository texts for lower grades configured elaboration, joint, cause/result relations. And often appears sequence and condition. Therefore adds a detailed explains of the main contents familiar to younger children. As the characteristics of the schema structure, an incomplete three-stage composition appears emphasizing just the body that is consist of a core content. Both introduction and conclusion are omitted or suggested lightly. As well, the simple repetition structure appears frequently and it gives rhythm and fun then it helps to remember the contents of the text. Texts for younger children is written differently by age group, even if same contents. Therefore, the analysis of discourse structure of the texts for lower grades can show the characteristics of them. Understanding the characteristics of the discourse structure of expository texts for lower grades would be beneficial to teachers and writers.
