Summary: | A 68-year-old female complained of nasal bleeding. Rhinoscopy revealed a dark red-colored tumor with a relatively regular surface in the left nasal cavity. The large tumor 5×4×3cm in size and 28g in weight was surgically removed with lateral rhinotomy under general anesthesia. Its origin was confirmed to be the lower part of the nasal septum. Histologically, it was diagnosed as a pleomorphic adenoma composed of myoepithelial cells with glandula elements. There has been no recurrence of bleeding after the removal. |
