Summary: | The purpose of this study was to evaluate the outcome measures of respiratory physical therapy (RPT) in articles that were included in the second edition of RPT Clinical Guidelines. We manually searched RPT assessment items by reading full-text articles that were selected based on the outcome list, which is a component of each clinical question in each domain. Conclusions: While most of the items overlapped with the evaluation indices used in domestic studies, there were some articles that focused on evaluation indices that are not used in Japan. It is important to utilize the RPT Clinical Guidelines, as well as to understand and utilize internationally used evaluation indices based on these guidelines to standardize the RPT outcomes in Japan. |
