Summary:A 42-year-old woman was admitted due to an umbilical tumor with pain. There was no discharge from the tumor, and the pain was not associated with her menstrual periods. Abdominal CT scan revealed a tumor in the umbilicus and a pelvic cystic tumor ; umbilical endometriosis was strongly suspected. To deal with the tumor, excision of the umbilical region and reconstruction of the umbilicus were performed ; left ovarian endometriosis was also detected on laparoscopy performed during surgery. According to the histological findings of the resected specimen, umbilical endometriosis was diagnosed.
