Summary:Recognition of job stress and coping among moderately experienced nurses who have been involved in clinical settings for about ten years were evaluated in comparison with advanced beginner nurses. Also examined were factors that may affect the depressive tendency. The subjects of this study (n = 1711) comprised nurses working in Japan at general hospitals having 500 beds or more. Regarding the recognition of job stress, the moderately experienced nurses had lower ratings in regard to nursing care (except for "nursing-related dilemmas") and significantly higher ratings in regard to interpersonal relationships as compared to the advanced beginner nurses. As for reaction to job stress, the moderately experienced nurses had a greater rating in regard to "lack of nursing ability" and significantly lower ratings in regard to interpersonal relationship as compared to the advanced beginner nurses. Factorial analysis of the depressive tendency revealed a positive correlation between "self-reproach/introspection" and the recognition of stress in regard to interpersonal relationships, and a negative correlation between reaction to stress in regard to "lack of nursing ability" and "sense of personal effectiveness." 看護経験10年前後の中堅看護師の職務ストレス認知度とそれに対する対処行動を新人期と比較して変化を分析し,さらにうつ傾向に影響する要因を明らかにした。 対象は全国の500床以上の一般病院に勤務する看護師2207名で,分析対象は1711名であった。 職務ストレス認知度は中堅看護師は新人看護師よりも,看護ケアに関するものは看護に関するジレンマを除いて低下していたが,人間関係に関するストレス認知度は上昇していた。 職務ストレスのうち看護ケアに関するやる気は中堅看護師の方が新人看護師よりも有意に上昇していたが,人間関係に関するストレスへのやる気は有意に低下していた。 うつ傾向に影響する変数は,人間関係に関するストレス認知,看護能力不足に対するストレスへのやる気,自責内省対処行動が正の関連,自己効力感が負の関連を示していた。
