Summary: | In the first report, we analyzed the data of 60 COVID-19 patients of Kyushu Sangyo University students, who were detected until the end of January, 2021. Based on the analysis, we called for avoiding 3 Cs (Crowded places, Closed spaces, and Contact settings), wearing a face mask, hand disinfection, and room ventilation to protect COVID-19. Many students, however, was infected with COVID-19 along with the increase in the patients in Japanese general society. Besides, clusters were noticed in cultural and sports circles in January and February of 2022. In the meeting of the circle leaders held in the February 24th, we confirmed upper limit of participating the training session or meeting, avoiding 3 Cs in locker rooms, and strictly observing the measures of prevention of infection. Here in the second report, we analyzed the efficacy of the measures of prevention of infection mentioned above in 825 COVID-19 patients of Kyushu Sangyo University students, who were detected until the end of June, 2022. Moreover, we examined the effect of the cluster prevention measures. Throughout from the 3rd to 6th waves, the incidence of COVID-19 in Kyushu Sangyo University students was statistically significantly lower than that in the population of twenties in Fukuoka prefecture. These suggest the efficacy of the measures of prevention of infection based on the analysis of the first stage patients. Although cluster once disappeared after the April 10th, one was detected at the end of June. |
