Summary:On July 30, 2015, an adult male and a nymph of Argas japonicus (Acari: Argasidae) were collected from a nest of Delichon urbica in Hachioji, Tokyo [Metropolis], Honshu, Japan. This species had been previously collected from Tachikawa, Tokyo [Metropolis] only once, and the present report represents the second record from Tokyo [Metropolis], after an interval of about 50 years.
