Summary: | This study aimed to elucidate the association between subjective problems of difficulties in accessing foods and dietaryvariety or locomotive syndrome among the community-dwelling Japanese older adult population. As a result, 24.5% of thesubjects had a subjective problems of food access, and they were high score of dietary variety score, and Locomo 25 which isone of the diagnosis tests of locomotive syndrome. In addition, it was clarified that it is related to health indicators such asobesity and high abdominal circumference in men, and high diastolic blood pressure in women. From the distribution of dietaryvariety score, it can be seen that the dietary variety of the elderly are not uniform. It was suggested that the importanceof public nutrition policy to spend a lifetime in familiar area. |
