DNA SYNTHESIS OF THE URINARY BLADDER EPITHELIUM IN RATS WITH LONG-TERM FEEDING OF dl-TRYPTOPHAN-ADDED AND PYRIDOXINE-DEFICIENT DIET

The autoradiographic study was made on the effect of urinary tryptophan metabolites on the bladder epithelium of rats and its results indicated that a large amount of tryptophan metabolites may stimulate DNA synthesis in the epithelial cells of the bladder.
