Summary:Six dogs that were diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma were treated by surgery only (3 dogs) and or by administration of doxorubicin after the surgery (3 dogs). The mean survival days for each treatment were 87 days and 189 days, respectively. Thus, the mean survival days for cases that received the latter treatment was 102 days longer than that for cases that received the former treatment.
