Summary:We report 2 cases of relatively rare apocrine cystadenoma, some cases of which have been reported in Japan. The first case is an 18-year-old man. He first visited to our clinic because 2 months before he had noticed a palpable elastic hard funicular tumor with a diameter of 2 cm inside the skin of penile coronary sulcus. The second case is a 59-year-old woman who noticed a small finger's tip sized elastic hard tumor appearing a tensional blister in front of the right ear 5 months before her first visit to us. Histological examination revealed that both of the two lesions were a hidrocystoma surrounded by fibrous interstitium. The wall of the two cysts was two-layered, and the inner layer cells of the wall showed apocrine type decapitation secretion. Also papillary hyperplasia was partly observed in the lining cells of the cyst wall. These histological findings were typical of apocrine cystadenoma.
