Summary:A case of generalized morphea (GM) complicated by primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC) is reported. A 39-year-old woman was seen because ofone half year duration of red brownishmacula with pruritus. She noted it onabdomen first and then it developed on both extremities, upper back and lumbar region gradually and symmetrically. Pruritus waspresent on lilac ring mainly. Examination showed mild conjunctival icterus, abnormalliver functional tests, and positive of AMA & ANA. Diagnosis of the skin and the liver lesions was confirmed by biopsies respectively. About three years follow up observation revealed cured GM but unchanged liver disease. This is the 3rd case of GM with PBC, tothe best of our knowlege, and correlation between the two disorders is discussed briefly.
