Summary: | Recent topics of contact dermatitis from cosmetic and toiletry products are an increase in patients with irritant contact dermatitis, probably based on overtreatment of the face, such as daily shampooing, and of rubbing with soaped towel over the entire body. Results of patch testing with cosmetic ingredients as well as cosmetic and toiletry products which patients brought are described. Clinical states of patients with cosmetic intolerance and with shampoo dermatitis are also introduced. |
