Summary:We have synthesized oriented liquid crystal slide-ring polymer (LC-SRP), which composed of LC monomer, blocked isocyanate monomer and polyrotaxane derivatives having vinyl groups, by uniaxially stretching method. The thermal stability of obtained orientation was improved with formation of crosslinks by the reaction of the isocyanate groups regenerated in the LC-SRP network.
