Summary:This report describes a digital technique of fabricating an identification mark directly on the denture surface, using a vat photopolymerization device (VPD). An ultraviolet name image is directly projected onto the light-polymerized staining coated denture, using the VPD. Then, the mark is covered with a transparent material and polymerized for protection against abrasion. The added denture marking is less than 0.1-mm thick, and therefore, would not cause irritation to the patient. Further, this new approach is easily achievable, time effective, useful for clinical practice, and can be considered as an alternative technique to mark dentures.
