セメント質近傍の歯根膜細胞の加齢変化を検索するため, 13~73歳のヒト永久歯40歯を用い, セメント質表面から歯根膜へ約20μm範囲を中心に, 透過型電子顕微鏡で微細構造的, 形態計測的に観察した。結果1.セメント質近傍の歯根膜細胞は細胞稠密層がみられ, 機能的に分化していた。2.セメント質近傍の歯根膜細胞の細胞密度, 核, 細胞質に加齢による変化は顕著でなかった。3.細胞の小器官では, ミトコンドリアは加齢により数の変化は少なく, 断面積は高齢者ではやや増加した。粗面小胞体は加齢による有意差は認められなかった。...
