Inferior fronto-occipital fasciculus (IFOF) は後頭皮質と前頭葉を結ぶ白質連合線維束として知られており, その機能は意味処理や統語処理に関連していると推測されている. 言語優位半球の島回神経膠腫の切除において, IFOFの損傷は換語障害や意味性錯語の出現を引き起こす. 島回神経膠腫に対する覚醒下手術を施行し, 術中覚醒下において白質刺激により意味性錯語が認められ, IFOFを機能的に同定し得た症例を報告する....
