Summary:This paper deals with model following control of a twin-rotor type model helicopter. The online parameter estimation technique is introduced to improve the control performance. The integral type of the estimation model is proposed for parameter identification since the derivative type of the model cannot obtain the desired estimation result. The experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
