Summary:[Purpose] The purpose of this study was to investigate the actual status of injuries among elementary school badminton players, and to examine the epidemiological characteristics of the pain and injury sites according to grade and gender. [Participants and Methods] The relationship between the presence of pain and the location of injury was investigated according to grade and gender in 143 boys and 187 girls who responded to an anonymous, self-administered questionnaire. [Results] Twenty-four boys and 34 girls currently had pain, and 59 boys and 79 girls had experienced pain in the past. Regarding the relationship between grade and pain, past experience of pain was significantly higher in the upper grades.
