Summary:During the past several years we have studied on the relation between hepatic damage and the period of chemotherapy from a standpoint of the pathological conditions in Tbc patiensts. It has been noted that the A/G ratio and serum albumin level of far advanced cases (especially in elderly cases) were very low in spite of long term treatments. In these cases the treatment with the secondary drugs, such as PZA or 1314TH, used to damage liver functions. An appearance of liver damage is often high by long term treatment of chemotherapy in the patients of elderly groups and in the far abvanced cases. By using of PZA or 1314TH followed by the treatment with primary drugs for more than two years, we recognized that remarkable liver damage would be developed.
