Summary: | Optical rotation measurement and size exclusion chromatography (SEC) are very useful to observe the solublefraction (S.F). We did the wash pretreatment two types gelatin powder at various temperature, and determined concentration of the soluble fraction (S.F) using optical rotation measurement and size exclusion chromatography (SEC). Molecular distribution of the soluble fraction (S.F) were confirmed with exclusion chromatography (SEC). Then, we hardened using the gelatin which performed the wash pretreatment. The concentration of soluble fraction obtained from hardened gelatin film using the two above-mentioned methods was measured. Two types gelatins, alkali ossein deionized and acid pigskin deionized, were employed in this study, and hardened with 1, 3-bis (vinylsulfonyl)-2-propanol (DVS). |
