Summary: | For the purpose of protection against post-operative infection T-1220 was administered to surgically operated 15 cases at 6 g/day for 5-10 days successively by intravenous drip infusion. The result shows that the protective effect against infection including a case of acute diffused peritonitis was satisfactory. In a case of gastric cancer operated stomatitis and commissural cheilitis were observed during administration of the drug, but using further this drug successively, the syndrome were naturally cured. On side effect investigation any clinical finding to be worth special mention was not observed. |
