Summary: | Several pieces of architectural decoration made of hard limestone (Arabic,mizzi hiluandmeleke) include three column drums, an Attic base of a heart-shaped column, two pseudo-Doric capitals, an architrave fragment, a decorated niche or door frame and two fragments of what appears to be a large banister (Figs. 8.1, 8.2). The architectural fragments vary in scale and quality of execution and seem to derive from more than one architectural unit.
