Summary: | This paper describes how the use of modern information techniques the standard fitting of a freely programmable switchbay control unit and the use of modern sensors have led to the extensively standardised switchboard ZX1 with secondary systems being type tested for the first time. The new switchboard technology with a stainless steel enclosed, gas-insulated core module, together with the use of vacuum circuit breakers, guarantees extensive freedom from maintenance. A high degree of standardisation without impairment of flexibility for the user significantly shortens planning, assembly and commissioning time. (5 pages) |
