Summary:In this paper, a pattern adjustment method is presented for phased array antenna application. By establishing the relationship between the Fourier transform-pairs of the element features and the array pattern features, the presented method can flexibly control the shape of the phased array pattern including reducing the sidelobe, broadening the beamwidth, controlling the zero position and so on.
