Learning Management Systems (LMS) have become integral tools in modern educational environments, revolutionizing the way learning materials are delivered, managed, and assessed. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the functionalities, benefits, challenges, and future prospects of LMS. It explores the fundamental features of LMS, including content management, interactive courses, quizzes, and communication channels, highlighting how these features facilitate personalized learning experiences, faster collaboration among learners, and streamline administrative tasks for educators and institutions. The purpose of this study is to develop EduMentor, an e-learning platform designed to improve the online learning experience by integrating advanced web technologies. EduMentor aims to enhance communication between teachers and students, provide personalized course recommendations, and ensure a safe learning environment by detecting and filtering toxic content. By addressing the limitations of traditional e-learning methods, EduMentor seeks to create an inclusive, interactive, and secure educational community.
