Summary: | The field of wireless sensor networks is more challenging, because of its limited bandwidth and energy. Due to this the life time of the network drains completely after sometime and the total network is dead. Hence a special routing protocol is necessary for power saving. Here we propose a routing protocol FUZZY BASED ENERGY AWARE DYNAMIC PATH ROUTE (FEADPR), which saves 49.72% of the power when compared to LEACH protocol. The selection of propagation model is very important in such types of the network. The propagation model and its environment cause drastic change in transmission and receiving energy. This paper focuses on the impact of the propagation model for the FUZZY BASED ENERGY AWARE DYNAMIC PATH ROUTE (FEADPR) protocol. The various propagation models, viz., two way ground and shadowing propagation models are implemented in FUZZY BASED ENERGY AWARE DYNAMIC PATH ROUTE (FEADPR) and a comparative analysis is made to select the best suitable propagation model. |
