Summary:This research refers to taking the 280kW engine which matches the "6 × 4" semi-trailer towed vehicle as the principal part and conducts the acceleration test and economy test respectively according to the direct gear and overdrive gear of the transmission by assembling the bridge with different ratios. Furthermore, the vehicle matching optimal design is determined by analyzing the obtained dynamic and economic data so as to reduce the overall oil consumption and save transportation costs for the customers.
