Summary:It is known that the signal processing of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) has the characteristics of massive processing data and rigid real-time requirement. In this paper, a new method is proposed to realize matrix transposition which is a key step in SAR imaging. To achieve the transposition efficiently, TI's latest highest-performance multicore DSP-TMS320C6678 is used as the signal processing device, and DDR3 SDRAM is used to buffer the massive data matrix which is transposed by enhanced direct memory access version3 (EDMA3) peripheral. The reasonable application of high performance devices and new transmission method make the matrix transposition of massive data more convenient and more efficient, and also it can be effectively applied to the compact SAR signal processor which has restricted load and real-time requirement.
