Summary:The paper suggests the ways to improve the reliability by power supply analysis of enterprises under the influence of the complex of negative factors such as higher harmonic components, short circuits and undervoltages. The degree of perturbing factors' influence on the power supply system with and without a reserve was determined. The characteristics for parameters determination of operation of electrical systems with different types of redundancy were suggested using the stochastic process theory and the redundancy effectiveness ratios (probability of failures and faultless system's operation, expectation value of pauses, average frequency and intensity of faults). The degree of independence of the system's operation on its faults was determined using the structural and informational (temporal) redundancy effectiveness ratios. The variation of these ratios was evaluated by exponential, log-normal and truncated-normal faults distributions. The necessity of integrated application of structural and informational (temporal) redundancy in power supply systems or mining enterprises was substantiated.
